The Simpsons, Married With Children, Dinosaurs, Wings and Futurama are just some of the 18:30 fun we could watch in the week, Sundays had Darkwing Duck, Tail Spin, Gummy Bears and more.

Water Rats, Marsupilami, Duck Tails, That 70's Show, Full House, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air...

Open Time had some quality programming during its 2hr daily time slot... for free! Anyone remember Scott Scott?

There was also another channel that M-Net had free to air called CSN... Had mostly religious stuff and local sport.

Damn I was always envious of the kids doing the Reggie's Toy Rush that was followed by rage when the boys almost never making a B line to the video game section

The kids would go straight for the PS1's. I vaguely remember this one kid just filling the trolley with them.

I remember watching the test pattern in 1976 when TV came to the country. Before that our entertainment was listening to radio shows like Squad Cars, Men From The Ministry, Jet Jungle, etc.

Those were care free days.

I think Sundays K-TV used to start early. I remember being around the age of 6/7 getting up early on a Sunday morning when my parents were still asleep to watch Postman Pat.

I remember a couple times one of my parents storming into the lounge and screaming at us for making so much noise so early in the morning. (I remember the topic coming up once when I was in varsity and many of my friends had the exact same experience)

Always felt like Sunday morning programming started earlier on the account by the time the Power Zone (or was it power hour?) started the entire family was up and having breakfast or pancakes would be on the stove.

On Sundays the folks used to be fast asleep.
maybe they just slept in later on Sundays.

Have to say the majority of my schooling life SABC 2 was the S Tier channel for me.

Yup Tube TV, Cybernet used to compete with Buffy the Vampire slayer, there was also Sliders.

I loved all those early CGI series; Reboot, Beast Wars, Shadow Raiders/War Planets.

OG Robot Wars was awesome, even my dad was in to that.

And of course Power Rangers and Xena for their plot points.

There was, and i think a repeat channel on channel 300
They normally just broadcast Nickelodeon content before we got our own Nickelodeon channel

I remember watching Chaotic and Avatar on there after school
