KZN holiday suggestions

I want to take the wife and kids to the beach in December. Which towns in KZN would you suggest? Ideally we're looking for a place which won't be totally swarming in December, but I'm not sure if such a place exists any more

We stayed at a AirBNB in ifafa, it’s very quiet, but no fancy shopping centers or anything near by.

There is 1 beach with a lifeguard, not packed at all

We ended up spending two weeks in an Airbnb in Pumula. Really enjoyed it!
