Ladies Fragrances

Finally fougnd a solution. China Mall between A and B Block. Turkish dude selling generic versions of the real thing at R20 a bottle. Smells like the real deal and doesn't fade so I bought a ton of different varieties for her and myself as well.

Lady is chuffed. Can't understand why the big brands are so expensive.

Gucci Rush and Knowing also available.

Cheap bastard :p Special price for your special lady :D

Need to get something really awesome for a special lady. So far Gucci Rush and Knowing tops my list.

These are powerful and aggressive perfumes as opposed to the flower scented fragrances.

Anything else?

get her a personalized leather handbag,,, it'll last longer than the perfume :) and she'll love you to bits for being so *thoughtful & unique*

Does she know they are faux? If not, you are in BEEEEG trouble m'boy

my favourite :) and the smell is so subtle :)
Which flavour/version, Issey Miyake makes quite a few, they make some great ones and they don't really make any horrendous fragrances like some other top fragrance houses do.
I like the mens realeases, their good old favourite the grassy smelling one and the Bleu.

I love everything by Givenchy  The men's fragrances are also wonderful

If you don't have access to her favourite scent, don't buy one. Take her to the shop and let her choose.

Just friend at work so don't want to overdo it.

Long as she's happy that's a big win :p:)

Thanks. Yip important

Those typically smell very similar when you first spray them, nice smelling , its the dry down an hr or 2 later when they lose their charm?

Be careful as well of what they use in them, its going on your skin, a membrane that will suck in any dodgy chemicals. I don't even trust the real thing to be completely harmless in that respect.

Tried a few for myself. Lasts the whole day with no irritation.

So a fantastic lady, you want to buy something special for and this in your mind equals cheap knock off perfume that will smell like cat piss in a bottle after an hour...

Fantastic.

Lol. She's just an awesome, hard working fellow colleague. Married so don't want to go too executive if you know what I mean. Likes her fragrances tho, so thought I'd chip in with something different.

Glad you're happy but I think you're deceiving yourself a bit here.

In what way?

In what way?

Smelling like the real deal, and not fading. 'Fading' is complex in itself.

I guarantee you that the scents are different, particularly in the dry-down stage.

No offence but if you believe this, I don't think you know perfume(s) too well.

I'm sure they're similar to the untrained nose.

Who cares. As long as smells cool. :p

Well at the end of the day if you happy and she's happy that's all that matters.

Many big brand fragrances that cost a small fortune smell like rubbish anyway, very few designer fragrances these days reflect the true art and potential of perfumery.
Most are a synthetic mess albeit ones that won't give you cancer or allergic reactions.

PP knows what's up. Some scents get better as the day goes on and the alcohol evaporates...some don't. Zegna's Z and Carolina Hererra's Sport are two of my favourites for that.
