Lady Gaga Computicket booking uses online queues

So glad I dont have to wait to pay R500+ for a ticket to see a woman that is probably going to be dressed in meat. :sick:
 
How big is computicket? How come they can't afford to spend money to upgrade their systems to handle a few a thousand people at once.
 
This is pathetic....

A system as big as computicket can't handle the load dynamically... thats beyond piss poor coding. I would think a barely passable system should be able to cope with between 2000 and 3000 ticket bookings a MINUTE.

Apparently not big enough. U2 online bookings was a disaster. This was about a year ago...

Seems the banks can't handle the Sh!
 
Wonder if they took into account our Sh1 Internet speeds when they came up with the 10min rule - would love to try this on dial up... So frikin slow on 1mps...
 
It's really sad that people go so mad over Lady Gaga and similar artists. Why so much hype over such poor music.

There is nothing wrong with her music, its just the way she presents herself that puts most people off, if I want to watch a clown perform i will go to the circus.
 
38 000 people in the queue at one point. Apparently all standing tickets for CPT are already sold out lol.

It's not so much the case of standing a band or artist, it's more the fact that is this really music nowadays?
