Im on a 384k line with Webafrica as my ISP. My ping is usually in the 200s with the registry trick and everything. Only when the mage in my guild pops bloodlust/timewarp and people start firing of spells quickly, the lag picks up... alot and gameplay becomes spiky. Is this normal? Is WoW playable on 384? 25M BH is also a nightmare, Theres a lot of spikes especially in bloodlust/timewarp phase in BH,Alysrazor and Majardomo.

I could never raid 25man on a 384k line, even on 512 its better but 4meg just works out the best.

The problem with a 384k line is,
1. Upload limited to 128k
2. latency on a 384k line to the 1st hop is 20ms, on a 4meg line its 6-7ms
3. 25 man raiding requires almost 1mbit/sec to be happy with lots of things happening
4. Even Blizzard recommends you need a 4meg line to play WoW

What about 10 mans? I'm experiencing lag there as well during bloodlust/timewarp phases.

disable reg tweak and disable the improve latency thing in the wow options it actually uses more bandwidth , but lowers your ping, rather disable it for a 384, help my friend a bit.

I've disabled as many as I can. When I raid, I have DBM, Dominos, Quartz, Xperl and ForteXcorcist.
