I dont know much about iburst, but to me its a tx and rx problem, move your aerial or the modem to get better signal strength. check signal strength, and enable modem then re enable it,then try again

Hi sboosh

Welcome to the forum!

The limited or no connectivity notification is of no real concern as this is a virtual adapter, however if it bothers you, you can prevent the notification by simply right clicking on the WAN connection (once connected to the internet) and select status from the context menu, then click on the support tab and record the IP address and Subnet Mask, then click on the general tab, click on the properties menu tab, double click the TCP IP service and enter the IP address and Subnet Mask you have recorded earlier.

The slow authentication rate could be caused by various things like for instance; the virtual connection, a busy server, an overloaded tower, poor connectivity, etc. Read this http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=28356 and this http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=48889 or search the iBurst forum...

Also, don't neglect to make use of a firewall on your iBurst connection - http://download.zonelabs.com/bin/free/1025_update/zaSetup_en.exe

Regards

M
