All these shops in the northern suburbs...anyone know some in the southern suburbs?
 
i the same as justinct when it comes to games at lans. i can live with paying 40 bucks enterance but R100 for a short lan by a hotel seems just a waste of cash for me, i will rather go to a mates place and play the games with 4 of my mates online for FREE!

Improved LAN and On-Line Gaming...

Good day folks...

Here is something to water the taste buds of even the most seasoned gamers....0_o

Get a program called cFosSpeed...It's a 15 day trial, but believe me, you won't be sorry....

This little program smooths out LAN and On-Line connections by getting rid of all the "useless packets" that drift around our country!!!

You have to see it to believe it!!!!

Brilliant is it not? I think that this little program might just be the cure to South African ADSL...or sort of!
 
You don't need the config pages...that happens when you either crack the program:D or don't install it properly....

Same happened to me, but it still works, and you dont need the configs...;)

Let it run for about a week while doing your daily dose of downloading, leeching etc. and the program will configure itself.

It sure as Telkom did something for my connection, even downloads via Kazaa ends up at round about 35-40 kBps.

In Mozilla, the download speed runs from 20 - 40. And under GetRight with one thread it runs the same, but when i kick it up to 4 threads, i get about 50-55.

By the way, it speeds up your LAN as well.

Just imagine what this can do for LAN gaming, ON-Line etc.

I used NetLimiter to check the actual transfer rates and it is amazing, then I read up about this program on the site...

As you know, you have 2 streams running...one for upload and one for download right? So, when ever you receive something (download) your computer sends a "Received" packet the source computer. That only normally happens if there is a gap in the upload stream, so what this program does is create a hole for the upload packets to go through, thus, even downloading with IE will 90% of the time prevent your download from crashing because the connection gets stabelized.

So, the same applies for your LAN....Game on brothers!

even when i played bf 2 last night

ran smooth as hell couldnt believe it

web pages load way faster
like allyoucaneat.co.za loaded slow when i loaded it wow was up almost a second later

might actually buy this instead of the usally crack stuff
 
That is the whole point...And eventually, when more people use it, the traffic on the South African lines might actually be organized for a change....

Just image if ELE can put this on the SGS server..even if it is for 15 days. Then it would optimize ALL the packets from the servers!!!

Need some help - Warcraft 3 Multiplayer MOD

Hi Folks....

I recently found the DOTA-ALLSTARS MOD for warcraft 3.

I was wondering if any of you guys have played it, and what works the best for you??
