The next question is where will this registration be done ?

I think Shoprite are in talks with the cellco's to do it at their stores. I'm sure Pick n' Pay will also offer it.

I thought of something else. You have to register all sim cards, right? And you have to give your IMEI number as well. But many people have more than one sim per phone/datacard - so can you register a sim without an IMEI? Can you register more than one sim per IMEI? Or are you now only allowed to have one sim per device?

None of those options make any sense, either here in the real world or in terms of what they're trying to accomplish.

Yes. I have a spare phone ( specific model the missus likes ) from the UK and branded Orange. I have no sim card in it. Which network do I register it with?

And if I change from Vodacom to MTN using one of these R2 sims, must I do the whole FICA-like bit again?

How did you get two passports . . . and in a single day? :confused:

Went to pick them up. I used the term "got" a little loose there sorry..still dodge though, I mean I hardly recognise myself on my student card....
