I'm looking for advice on a good laptop. I'm not the most tech-savvy and not exactly sure what I'm looking at!

I've been using a Dell Inspiron for the last 10 years and, while there isn't anything wrong with it, it's been great, but now it's SO slow and is a pain. I don't want something too fancy or expensive -- but I do work a lot on the laptop and need all the basic office programs etc. The main thing is I want relatively decent storage space and something fast (my current one freezes and takes ages to load pages), and a good guarantee.

I've used Dell and Acer in the past. Any advice would be much appreciated?

Thanks!

Thanks, I do have win 10. what does inb4 SSD mean?
best bang for the buck increase in speed is fit an SSD (Solid state Drive) to your PC,
look just like a standard Hard drive (where the information is stored).
but you clone your data to it, and immediately you'll see a big improvement in speed,

visit any Matrix and ask for them to clone your Hard drive to SSD,
SSD can be brought anywhere and its usually quite straightforward process.
