Hi. Can anyone help me? I want to use my TV for audiovisual from my Fujitsu-Siemens laptop. I've got a Samsung 32" LA32A330. S-VGA cable works fine. I connected my audio cable to the laptop and have tried all the RCA audio ports on the TV, but can't get any sound. The TV doesn't seem to "recognise" the cable. I've noticed that all the video in's have audio right next to them. The S-VGA doesn't have RCA ports next to it. It has a slot covered by a square rubber and is labelled "audio". Is this the slot that I should be using and if so, what kind of cable do I get for it?
Thanks

Have you gone into your Volume Control Settings (the Mixer) on your computer and checked that "Line Out" is enabled (not muted)?

I can't find "line out". Audio Output only has mic/line. wave, cd volume, sw synth, spdif and pc beep.

Hmmm, seems like your Mic line is doubling as the line out. I have seen that before. I think the switch between the two must be in the proprietary sofware somewhere (the audio driver software).

I got my laptop hooked up to a Samsung 32". There should be a video and audio input box labelled "PC in" at the back of the Samsung. It has a VGA input and audio input. The audio cable should be plugged into your laptop headphone output.

Thanks guys. It's sorted. The audio in on the samsung is a normal 3.5mm headphone jack. Basically, I used a cable with 3.5mm on both ends, laptop to TV!!
