So yeah here's me with all my questions again.

My dad is busy buying a business he currently manage. My mom do the office work. The pc they have now in the office is way way outdated and very slow, hd space limited, and and and.

Bt my mom have her own fairly new hp laptop at home. What I told them is not to uy a new pc now, ut rather use the latop, which is more than a overkill than what she need. Now I know she can use her current screen, keyboard, mouse and printer on the laptop, but I was wondering, isn't there a way she can just plug in one plug, like docking it? It hasn't got docking port or something, just the normal laptop ports.

What do you think?

I just cant rememer the exact model, ut I know its the hp 550 series. Busy searching laptopdirect for the one.

Best I can suggest is something like the logitech alto. You plug peripherals into the usb hub.

Then when she wants to use it, she puts her notebook down, plugs in the VGA and one USB cable.

you get "port replicators" like a mini docking station... try one of those or just a plain USB hub with all the USB stuff in already and then she will have only 3 plugs.. best you can do on a budget...
