Laptop Issue

Hey all,

Seems I have a strange issue with my laptop..it works perfectly but when I get to work and connect the LAN cable it starts stuttering and working really slowly :wtf:

This is a first for me, running Win8 64bit. My VM's work perfectly but running anything on the actual laptop is a mission.
Going to be formatting this weekend but you guys have any idea what the issue might be?

Drivers are updated and Samsung says Win8 should work perfectly.

Is this laptop new?

Did you upgrade from Win 7 to 8 or was it preinstalled?

Do you have a good antivirus on the laptop and have you done a full scan recently?

Is your windows up-to date?

New Laptop(1 month old)
Came with Windows 7, clean installed into Win8
Using Windows Defender a (Old Esseentials range, never had any issues before)
Windows is up-to-date.

Tried disabling Windows firewall &/or defender?
If that helps it then you need to change some settings

Did you have the same issue with Win 7?

If not revert back to win 7.
