It wasn’t.There will always be issues. As long as it gets resolved.
My brother received a voice note yesterday blaming financial year end and promising that he would receive proof of payment by the end of the day. There will always be issues. As long as it gets resolved.
Is there a fishing trip involved? My brother received a voice note yesterday blaming financial year end and promising that he would receive proof of payment by the end of the day.
Still waiting.
I will update the thread by the end of the week with all the details.
Hectic. That's not great. There is 1 reseller on Carb I like to contact. But I prefer to deal with end users directly. I guess either way there is always a risk involved. My brother received a voice note yesterday blaming financial year end and promising that he would receive proof of payment by the end of the day.

This.I just hope the supplier realizes that ignoring messages and calls isn’t the right way to handle things.
Life happens so that you can't make a payment causing you stress? That's nonsense. I'd avoid that seller if I knew who it was. But now we will never know.Miracles do happen. Refund was in his bank account this morning.
The reason I didn’t name and shame from the start is that life happens. I understand that when you’re running your own company, sometimes things happen beyond your control. I just hope the supplier realizes that ignoring messages and calls isn’t the right way to handle things.
Awesome! I still think there is no shame in naming. They welcome to set the record straight quickly.Miracles do happen. Refund was in his bank account this morning.

That's how it goes. You get fcked around, and eventually they make it feel like they did you a favour by eventually doing what they promised.Awesome! I still think there is no shame in naming. They welcome to set the record straight quickly.
If OP doesn't name the company I know who I'm going to avoid and Scott is not in their name.
EDIT: It would be a pity because I've bought from them in the past and would have used them again.
Flashgear / Nucleustech? Our work purchased R300k worth of laptops from there the end of last year. Will continue to support him.
Sounds like the issue was resolved though. So don't think there is much more to it or anything to be concerned about. Of course use spidey senses when buying online and something at half the price of its retail value, but that goes for any reseller. If OP doesn't name the company I know who I'm going to avoid and Scott is not in their name.

Stop talking rubbishNever use them again...
Rather stick to proper companies who are honest, even if they are a few bob mugabe's more expensive.
You could have lost everything
