Laptop screen not working

Good day

Just a few days ago, my laptop screen just stop coming up..

It goes all the way to the windows screen with the loading bar at the bottom..

and then after that it goes black..

does anyone know anything about this?

Will I have to format it?

so basically what you saying is your screen is fine but your laptop wont boot?

Just put in your recovery disc and run the recovery console and repair your windows installation.

You could also boot into safe mode and just run system restore. Should also fix the problem

Yes..

It's like it starts up normally, but then when it gets to the make of the laptop.. (mecer) and then it goes black... (Blue-ish black..)

Could it be a virus problem? Or a root boot problem?

could be as a result of a virus/corrupt windows but could also possibly be as a result of HDD failure.

Well if it was a window problem, won't it come with a blue screen or something?

try this to make sure there is not a problem perhaps with your battery .... (long story made short)

remove the battery, plug into mains. turn on laptop... see what that does.... if it boots replace the battery after about 5 min. & leave on charge for a few hours before unplugging it

Well it's only a year and a bit old..

Not that old.. but anyway..

my laptop didn't come with any like software.. how can I fnd divers for it?
