Laptop spares shops.

My Toshiba 17" laptop screen has expired and a new one is R8600.00 from Mustek.
I recall reading somewhere of a 2'nd hand dealer in Cape Town who says he is the biggest dealer in SA on laptop spares.
Anyone know of a dealer?

Good grief. A 32" LCD TV costs R5990.00 and a 17" LCD monitor costs R8600.00.

Found that I can import a screen for R808.00. A simple procedure to extract the old one from the frame.
I am sure I can get a 17" secondhand here for less.

are you using the laptop in one location? If you not needing it so much for the mobility, another idea would be, buy yourself an LCD monitor and plug it into your laptop... tada!!!
