Is it possible to upgrade the processor and Video Card of a Laptop?

Processor: Usually YES
GPU: Usually NO

Expensive so people buy laptop cpu's on ebay.

Well unless u get one of those desktop replacement uber alienware laptops that takes cards and 3.5" hdds, otherwise known as customizable, really expensive, giant laptops.

Otherwise...cpu (only the same generation)
GPU - never tried soldering a new chip onto the m/board directly...so for me its a NO

I bought a T7600 CPU on eBay for my Sony Vaio SZ-38 - it had a T7200 before. Works well, has a bit more oomph now.

With this model you just unscrew a flap and you have access to the CPU - with other notebooks it may be a complete dismantle.

The graphics is usually on the motherboard, so no, usually not possible.

cpu is a piece of cake, open it up and drop it in. make 1000% sure it's compatible first by checking forums though. Things like FSB can make all the difference. Laptops can be persnickety.
