Hi all.
So this is my situation:
I am in matric now and I have a really weak PC which is just good enough to run Sims 3 on low graphics.
Anyways, I am going to university into res next year and I have about R6000-R8000 to spend on a computer to take with me (i certainly am not keeping this one).
Also, I am not really too concerned about playing high-graphics games (such as Crysis and that type thing). But I obviously want a decent Graphics card on my system to play some games on high graphics like CSS for example.
So I have thought about this a lot, and I was wondering what you guys think i could do with such a limited amt of money? Is it really useful having a laptop in university? Or is desktop fine? Also, how reliable is it getting a laptop, they seem to have a life span of 2yrs then they break (not to mention impossible to upgrade)?
Any help/opinions/advice/personal experiences will be appreciated
Also: If anyone can also provide prices if you are selling something relevant then don't be shy
