Hi guys

As some of you might know we are starting a broadband testing centre. For this centre we need a fair amount of equipment, including a set of older laptops (as long as they can run Windows XP). If anybody can think of which companies we can contact that might be willing to sponsor a few older laptops (or provide them to us at a low price) please let me know. They will obviously get great exposure on the site and in the ratings reports…

Any ideas and comments welcome. If you know of a potential company please just give the details here…we will do the rest.

Thanks and regards,

RPM

Why not make this a sticky? I'm sure at least one or two members may have older laptops they no longer use.

ive heard tht accounting firms replace their laptops often and sell their old laptops at relatively low prices.
nt to sure tho!

Is that bcos the '+' key is hammered & broken on the kbd? They should just have the kbd replaced or use an external kbd...:D

... nah - I heard that as notebook screens improved from 800x600 to 1024x768 and better, they all wanted the new ones so they could view more spreadsheet cells without having to scroll so much...

LOL, in that case I wonder how many laptops TelkoDemonopoly replace per minute [or part thereof] of every day, and no doubt they buy widescreen plasmas to use as an external monitor as well...:D
