Anyone else tried this?

My wife had it done, and now Iv had 6 sessions, was skeptical about it, after each session it takes the hair about 4-5 weeks to start growing back, and every time its much lighter and finer, its almost completely gone, another few sessions should do the trick.

I really cant believe how brilliant it is, its not cheap, but really worth it at the end of the day.

6 sessions and you need a few more? that stuff is crazy expensive...be proud of your manly hair!
 
Waxing is not as effective, with this, once the hair is gone, its gone, end of story.

Oh, and its painless and really quick.

I consider it money well spent.
 
I have a friend who had it done. Not sure how many session she went for initially, but the results are fantastic. No more shaving or waxing required at all. I was very impressed. :)
 
How much does it cost? I would consider for certain regions of my body.

They use the Soprano XL lazer thingy, according to research I did its the best there is.
 
I explored this as an option, but unfortunately it is most suitable for people which a high contrast between skin and hair color. It is totally ineffective for people with fair skin and fair hair. Being a ginja definitely doesn't help.

(EDIT NOTE: The Soprano claims to treat all pigmented hair types and all skin types (even tanned). It might be worth looking into again.)

The only alternative is Electrolysis, which is where folicles are individually zapped by plunging a electrified needle into it. Time-consuming (costly) and painful, by all accounts, but pretty much up there with laser in terms of 'permanent' hair removal.

Incidentally, your laser treatment will only last about 10 years and then you have to do it all over again. There's no truly permanent solution yet.

I will definitely consider but cost of chest+ stomach =R2500 which is R25000 for 10 sessions. Although I am pretty hairy dont have that much cash. Does it look weird when the hair grows back thinner?
 
Dude bare one thing in mind please, they do not guarantee results. You may end up paying 25k and be no better off.

If you have a better half just get that shyte that removes hair, it's a cream. Apply wipe off. It may be a mission but 25k is a crap load of money with no guaranteed results.
 
my SO has fair skin and dark hair so she is gonna go and try it out. she getting the armpit one first as a test

then other options can be explored :)

It works but it's not painless. Depending on the area of course and they also increase the intensity of the laser with each session.

Suntra spa in cape town has good prices and great service.
