Lasers could keep Drones flying forever

The first country to successfully combine this laser charging technology with drones and solar power satellites will have serious air superiority.

To be honest though, if you can get a satellite like that you probably don't need drones to make strikes. You can just destroy whatever you need destroyed with a laser beam from space. It will be like the particle cannon in C&C generals, but with unlimited firepower.

If it was being used on a large scale in cities (like with the cars thing I said) it would be prevalent on ground level.

You'd actually have to stand in the beam's way. It's the same reasoning as to why they'd be difficult to spot.
