World's biggest password manager suffers data breach

Password manager LastPass has suffered another data breach where an unauthorised party gained access to customer information, the company revealed in a blog post.

LastPass says it detected unusual activity on a third-party cloud storage service, adding that it has alerted law enforcement and is investigating the breach.

damn just switched password managers
Was considering LastPass, glad I went with someone else

This has never made sense to me, anything can be hacked people, why give all your passwords together on a silver platter?
I don't use LastPass but I do use Keychain. If Apple gets hacked, they can take my money since there'll be nothing left to buy.

Can Highly recommend 1Password to those who are considering a password manager or an alternative to others. Bitwarden is also great, but found 1Password to have better support, apps and reliability.

Oh no, I am so surprised. My eyebrows reached orbit and my jaw has rugburn.

Hopefully not one that stores it in the cloud. Or that cannot secure its own source code.
