Latency

Hi guys just want to know I have a 4MB unshaped line and after the patch I found that my latency was great last night didnt go over 500ms at all which was strange but great anyone else notice this diffrence or did yours get worse?

Mine usually runs in the 400's... before and after the patch. Sometimes I get lucky and it's in the 200's.

unshaped? you should try the registry hack to get your ping lower. 500ms unshaped is awful

On Patch day my latency were around 600-700 but last night it droped to 290-330ish so quite playable again

4Mb line and Webafrica unshaped prepaid account

Thats odd...

My latt has been 250ms on wednesday, pretty much all of thursday, then thursday evening it wouldnt drop from 1,3k ms

You re-install with XP

Actually before the patch and since it's been at around 400ms, down from 800 so I'm happy It's pretty good for shaped.
