Latest available OS

still having memory issues with .461
you can try browse the news24.co.za website using the BB browser. Opera still twitchy when scrolling :(

I'm still on 448 on my 9300. A recent BBM update (5.0.2.12) sorted out the cursor issue.

Any idea if the double browser service book issue has been sorted out in the latest release?

Does the 9700 also have this service book issue?

Problems been resolved months ago, the problem was wth RIM, the OS itself however was not at fault, a SB update was coming through from RIm as well as the normal service book set by vodacom.
Software version has no effect ont he problem or its solution.

 I still have to delete the second browser service book from time to time to get the browser to work.

Strange, mine stopped giving me the error before 448 came out im on 461 now and upgrading to the 5xx as soon as i get my berry back

I also have to delete the second service book from time to time. Not as often as in the past, but it has not been totally resolved.

Wish Vodacom would solve the network issues though. Have been having a lot of "no service" errors - seems to be Vodacom related as a few BB users in my area reported that issue.

Also, whn will we be so lucky as to have 3G signal in the area :(

Do you have another link that you dont need to log into?>

Crackberry will have a fileshare link in a few days, BBOS requires reg as they host the files themselves, keeps bots and leechers out.
Also means it does not suddenly vanish, then again CB sometimes just links to BBOS, y upload it when its already there.

I am a king guy, this link will get you to all teh 9700 downloads bypassing the login

Even if it's an OFFICIAL update, from a different carrier/network?

Yes. Everything unofficial unless its been approved by your own service provider, MTN can void ur warranty for using a Vodacom update if they so wish.
Generally they wont do it unless its found that the software or teh update procedure was the direct cause of any fault, if its a hardware issure then they generally dont care what you did with ur software.

Is there an update for the Bold 8900? My girlfriend has one and is looking to update to OS 6. She's with Vodacom. What's the best way to do so and is the update even available for her phone?
