Got called at 7pm (first red flag) Person (male) on the other end waffles on about my vodabucks is about to expire (second red flag. I don't even use that rewards program so how will 0 expire ?).
Me: I know this is a scam.
Scammer "No sir I'm from vodacom,. waffle waffle waffle".
Me: You are a disgrace to your mother and a s***t human
Scammer: Getting a bit upset: how can you say that I am trying to help you
Me: Scam
Scammer: waffle waffle
Me: Scam
Scammer: hangs up
Whatever he was trying to achieve I have no idea, probably would have led to a OTP that I would then read out ?
It does help having the mindset of "Anyone phoning me is trying a scam" and "No financial business over the telephone"
