Lawnmower blade bolt stuck

Well, it turns out I've gone and bent my lawnmower blade. The only issue is the bolt that secures the blade is really, really stuck. Anyone have any tips or tricks on how to get it loose? I've tried loosening it with a normal size 14 wrench and also a socket wrench...

I replaced my worn blade last week Thursday on the Public Holiday. The Strong/Power bar did the trick. It's the extended bar for sockets you get in most toolboxes. Issue I had was that the blade kept moving even through the compression stroke. So I used my foot on the blade to keep it in place and knocked the Power bar with my had a few times and it came loose.

It's a biatch to remove. It it's a Trimtech lawn mover, I can confirm it's standard for loosing it (anti-clockwise) some other brands have it the other way round against the spin of the blade.

Standard trick is to wedge the blade with a piece of wood and secure the shaft with a vice grip. Then both your hands are free to get a good grip on the bolt with a good socket and T-bar.
