LCD arms....(please reply this time)

I posted another thread about the Ergotron LCD arms....no replies.

Now I'm just gonna ask if any of you are using desk mounted LCD arms which brand you're using, where you got it from and cost? It's for a 20.1" widescreen

Is there a local supplier for these things? Last time I checked they were hideously expensive (~ $400).
 
$100-120 seems normal for the vanilla deskmounted ones which isn't too bad. I need one that'll also let me rotate my LCD because I also want to use it in portrait mode. But it seems nobody knows where to get them....cmon guys SOMEBODY must have info?
 
Id feel more comfortable buying a regular arm because if my LCD fell from a custom made arm I think Id fall into a life long depression hehe. On another local forum someone gave the name of a shop in durbs that carries them but Im in PTA. I guess Ill just have to have a look at some shops in Hatfield and Menlyn.
 
Yeah if I don't come right here in PTA (not likely) I'll probably just give the durbs guys a call and have it shipped. My only worry is that it won't be able to rotate the LCD which is one of the features I want to try out. Thanks for the replies JUGGY :)
 
If you come right, please give me a shout as well. Might be interested in something similar.
 
I saw some at HiFi Corp - not sure of the brand or the price though
 
no thank you...HiFi corp is on my ignore list. I will post back here tomorrow with (hopefully) a company that specialises in them so sit tight..

pls let me know which shop in durban this is.......may get a lcd arm as well....
