LCD Blurry/Fuzzyness

Hi all knowledgeable ones,

What would cause the display on a monitor to be blurry & fuzzy?
Graphics card? Resolution? DVI or analog input?
 
Most likely incorrect resolution. Depends on the situation; was it from the start (i.e. new monitor doing this), or did it happen over time? Is text in the DOS console blurry at all? Does the problem only occur in certain situations, and if so, what situations?
 
This is a monitor I want to buy... the Samsung 953gw
I had a look at one in the store and it was extremely fuzzy.

I asked the guy to move it to a better machine which did improve the display a bit but was still fuzzy. He then changed the resolution and it got better but really poor performance for this kind of monitor.

I think he was getting annoyed with me and all my questions so I left
 
The Samsung GW monitors are excellent. Don't let the salesman's terrible punting sway you... Correctly configured, these monitors are some of the best out there. He may have changed the resolution, but did he change it to the CORRECT one... ? Incredible might be able to give you a better idea as to what the monitor can do, but often they use those splitters that don't give the right resolution to every monitor. Try get it plugged into one of the notebooks on display.

This is such a beautiful monitor. I'm gonna go back there today and fiddle with it myself :D

Ok I'm back. You were spot on the money there sn3rd, the resolution was all wrong!
The monitor is an absolute beauty and I'm placing an order for a 2253GW :D
 
A very wise choice, I have had mine for about a month and it is awesome! :D Great contrast, resolution and its just pretty :p
