Hey guys
Im looking to get a new screen, i wanna be able to use my gtx280 more.
I currently have a 2232gw, now im looking to get a 2333sw. Its mainly for the resolution and cause its gonna be a new screen.
Is it worth it or a waste? Bearing in mind the 2ms to 5ms difference.
Thanks

Well the 2333SW is a bigger screen... And from what I hear the quality is awesome - whites are much nicer, colours are more crisp etc.
You won't notice the 2ms/5ms difference tho

Haven't gamed much on the 2333SW, but I'd get it at the drop of a hat based purely on "in Windows" performance. Seriously stunning screen. ;)

Worries me cause its cheap haha, feels like a down grade cause im spending less this time, i would of had it today but theres no stock in JHB:( but i was considering against it earlier this morning...

But you guys are helping:D i want it now haha

The market is so flooded with monitor varieties so I wouldn't be concerned that it's cheaper. Just very very grateful lol

I couldn't care really about 2ms/5ms difference. Even contrast ratios and such can be smoke and mirrors. What counts is purely image quality. You need to get up close to the monitor and see the difference for yourself.

2333sw... awesome HD real estate goodness..

It feels as if i have a new pc lol

If you wanna spend more look at the T240 or T260.

I upgraded from the 2232 to the 2333 and yes it is well worth it!!

Much nicer in ever aspect IMO - Colours are richer, whites are whiter. My 2232 had this horrible yellow tinge to it which I just couldn’t take. 2333 is also matte which i prefer, no more reflections.

Don't waste your money on the T series honestly - I seriously still can’t find any significant difference between them.

It is a no brainer, the 2333 is much better than the 2232.

@ PostmanPot – gaming is amazing on this screen  :D

What does that mean?

What does that mean?

Pretty much what it says? I can say it slower if you like? :D

In my opinion the Samsung 2333SW LCD monitor is nicer in every aspect in relation to the Samsung 2232GW LCD monitor.

Better? :D

Oh. Every. Now it makes sense. Thought you were going on about the aspect ratio.

Do you prefer the 16:10 or 16:9 aspect ratio?

The 2333sw goes for R2100-R2200, so it's well over R1k more..

Most places have it for R2400-R2500.

I see the confusion ;)

Prefer the 16:10 to be honest

Edit: I didn't see my typo, my appologies.
