So I'm looking at getting the LG 37" LH70 for R10k (Scarlet 2.0)
Some Quick facts:
37LH70
37" HD 1080p LCD TV.
Trumotion 100Hz.
Built in bluetooth.
3 x HDMI.
Resolution 1920x1080.
Brightness (cd/m2) 500.
Dynamic Contrast Ratio 100,000:1.
2.7ms Response Time.

Will be used for PC Gaming/Series/etc
Also thinking about the 47" Sinotec -but it looks ugly (Pic from the website) and the features are making me apprehensive.

Any thoughts/suggestion are welcome :)

Yeah for R10k you can get better. In that pricerange Sony 40" or Samsung 40" your best bet, Sinotec perform well and have the nice guaranty but they look like sh!!t.

Try Govan Mani or Simplex TV/Audio in Durbs, Sony FIFA 2010 special offer on a 40" Full DH LCD TV v-series
for R8499 (white & red), about R10500 for black! 3year sony warranty. Hope you get stock..... Have one & velly velly happy with it.

Yeah but looking at the Refresh Rate (120 Hz) which is 3D capable.
That Philips does look sweet thou :)
I will be getting what I want from Simplex.

Edit: I see the Philips does have 120 Hz refresh rate!

You usually get what you pay for, and in the case of sinotech, that would be less features and an inferior picture quality. you could go for the sony or samsung 40" TV's, but those are the entry level full hd TV's, whereas the LG scarlet's are supposed to be LG's higher end series. The TV doesn't just look better, the tv itself is better quality.

120hz isn't necessarily 3d capable. The TV needs to be 3d ready i.e. be atleast 120 hz and be able to accept a 60hz x 2 input. My plasma has a 150hz feature but cant do 3D.
