You can easily get a great 32" LCD TV for under R7000-00 (Sony Bravia S-Series is R6999-00 at the moment at game on special!!!!!!!!). This leaves you R3000-00 for the rest, which you should be able to get at Game or Makro too. I recall a Samsung set with wireless speakers that sounded great at Metro. The price was (I think) R2799-00 for the DVD player and 5.1 surround. Then again, you might want to get same-branded stuff, so the Samsung "Jasmine" 32" LCD's should sell for even less than the Sony S-Series.

Hi Fi Corp also has a Philips 32" LCD for R5999-00 which is a pretty good deal.

Forgot to mention that the Sony from Game for R6999 comes with a free DVD player and wall-mount bracket

Many places have 37" LCD's for around 8K then just get an all-in-one LG home theater for 2K.
