I guess the Dutch oven is 2 years old. The frying pan is 4-5 months but it's like new and it's my daily driver.
What's the advantage of investing this brand?
I've looked at their stuff a few times but find it quite expensive

It's for people who have neighbours with the surname Joneses.
We've got a few items, but we've had our Dutch oven since 1994 and it's still going strong.
Is this a case of people buying it simply because it's expensive, then saying it's brilliant to convince themselves it was worth showing it off to guests???
I don't see how this will do a better job than my braai grid with a steak, and that costs a fifth of these pans.

Ok thanks, then it seems worth it since it will last this long. Not at all. They are high quality and last for a lifetime.

My mother and grandmother swear by AMC . And they look even more expensive than these. How do they compare?

Old AMC don't work with induction. The new ones do.
My mother has some that are 30 years old. They Still look good. And they'll replace and handles etc that break.Problem with AMC is that most people don’t use it for their intended purpose which is “waterless cooking”.
It seemed to have become popular in Indian households in SA due to clever direct sales marketing but I wonder what really is special about them.
Asked my wife and she said her mother used them so it must be good ?
