LEADTEK WINFAST 2000XP

what specific error do you get? did you go to control panel~realtek hd audio device~right click~update drivers~browse~folder~vista~32bit/64bit?

I just tried that route, and the drivers installed, but then I'm still not getting sound from the application, but the broadcast shows.

right click on the sound icorn on taskbar~playback tab~right click~show disabled devices~recording tab~right click on CD Audio~enable~apply~ok.

select CD Audio~properties~Levels tab~drag volume slider to 100~apply~ok.
or

you can click on realtek audio manager icon~cd audio~recording volume<drag volume slider to maximum>~playback volume<drag to about 20/30~ok.

After booting into my old XP again, I decided to try Win7...still does not work! The problem is that for some reason, the realtek stuff only installs the drivers and not the sound manager app, which would allow me to really play around with the audio line settings, etc. I'll put up screenshots later to show you how...
