Wrong. Phonegap allows you to build apps for any platform without having to use native SDK's.

Go to phonegap.com and read up about Phonegap Build.

I have to disagree:

You can build cross platform apps using phonegap, but unless you involve a Mac somewhere in the process, the results is not going to run on iOS.

Edit: Sorry, I see they have a cloud build option now: https://build.phonegap.com/
But I still think without a Mac with an iOS emulator, it is going to be a pretty painful experience. But then I do not have personal experience with this, so that is just my guess.

As for iOS, I gave up my dream of being able to write apps for apple products when I saw the price of Macs....
