Hi guys,

I got Left 4 Dead (1) the other day, now I'm trying to play online but I can't find any games, the game itself is fully updated, but I really can't for the life of me figure out how to join servers.

I check all the options but it says "no games found"

Obviously I wanna play on local servers...

On steam join the IS Gaming group and the SAIX Game Service. You should then see games show up in the main menu.

Monkey101, could you post direct links to the groups please.
I am searching for there are so many groups, I don't want to go through 300 / 1000 pages (which is what comes up)

FOr the moment you cant play steam games fully free. On WAGE you can get the majority free, but not the steam updates.
 
You need to join the saix group. But the left 4 dead 1 servers is pretty much empty. Most is playing l4d 2 now.
