As I'm sitting here eating leftover Chinese Food for lunch, I can't get over the fact that it is so wonderful. I believe that it is the best food to have as leftovers.

What do you say is the best?

I think I started a thread about this a while ago :)

I love leftovers too! Dunno why, just love it!

My favourites are cold pizza for breakfast and leftover Indian food - as a matter of fact, giving the spices a chance to soak in properly, means Indian food is normally better on the 2nd day.

Agreed on the curries - epic.

Other great leftovers are of course Cottage (Shepherds) Pie, Mince on Toast (from your Bolgnese), Stir Fry (any kind really, as long as you didnt overcook the vegetables), Beef / Lamb Stew with rice, Arrabiata Pasta.

To be fair, its really anything saucy is great the next day.

True, I find that the curries that my wife makes are normally much better on the 2nd day. The first day is good but, the 2nd day is bril.

left over kfc is nice, also pasta.... love it

i also notice soup tastes best when its been in the fridge for a day or 2, to me at least

Mmmm . . . cold pizza. :)

Left over Triple Meaty Decker Pizza from debonairs is great

Have to agree with this one :)

Stews and such are always nicer on day 2. :)

Lasagna is the best for sure!

lol @ the guy eating KFC the next day, ugh!

I hate you people.

I've been on a diet for three weeks... All I've eaten is eggs, chicken, nuts and mince. :(

Curries and stews usually taste better the next day & that's why I usually cook large amounts of it :D

Cold pizza is nice. Leftover pasta, leftover mince, roasts etc all make for great meals the next day. Just don't nuke it in a microwave at full power as it fscks up the flavour, reheat at 60% power for longer or use the oven.

KFC leftovers are meh. I love Spag-Bol leftovers. Make toasted cheese zaarms with it. Left over braai chops and curry are also WINNERS! Damn, now I am hungry again...
