I hate you people.

I've been on a diet for three weeks... All I've eaten is eggs, chicken, nuts and mince. :(

are you on a low carb diet?

Sweet potatoes are really low in carbs as veggies go, make chips with them and banging a cup of low carb veggies with the nuts is also a win.
You can also mash cauliflower to make a substitute for mash potato.

im about to go outside to braai supper now, chops, chicken wings, wors and of course roosterbrood.... no doubt there will be leftovers :D

and yes, room temperature leftover kfc is awesome.... all that oily goodness goes down well for breakfast.

You should be shot unless that's for the missus :D

Agreed on the curries - epic.

Other great leftovers are of course Cottage (Shepherds) Pie, Mince on Toast (from your Bolgnese), Stir Fry (any kind really, as long as you didnt overcook the vegetables), Beef / Lamb Stew with rice, Arrabiata Pasta.

To be fair, its really anything saucy is great the next day.

Curries are a def +1

I think I started a thread about this a while ago :)

I love leftovers too! Dunno why, just love it!

My favourites are cold pizza for breakfast and leftover Indian food - as a matter of fact, giving the spices a chance to soak in properly, means Indian food is normally better on the 2nd day.

We tend to use leftovers in the meal for the next day. Let's say there was some curried mince left over, we'll add some more mince buy some pastery at the dely and make a pie. Maybe left over meat in a Jaffel and so on. Only leftovers I can eat chow on even a week after it was made.... PASTA SALAD any pasta salad tends to become better the older it gets :o

Leftovers I don't like:
* French fries - they never taste good after being warmed up again
* avo - although it tastes fine it doesn't look good
* coffee - cold coffee, being re-warmed tastes old

Leftovers I do like:
* sushi
* pizza
* KCF
* braaivleis - ANY ;)
* Spur ribs

Pizza is the best left over food by far! like it really is, not two ways about it :p.

Left over:
KFC, McDonalds, Steers all takes dry, like butterless toast, and also lose their flavour somehow (perhaps the radiation has a half life of a night :p).

I would kill for a Jaffel, last time I had one I was still in school :cry:

Don't you have to make them over a gas flame?

You get an iron for the jaffels which you can put on a normal stove plate. We have 2 as our family is big and one at a time just doesn't feed them all :D

I would need two just for myself :D I recall my parents had the original round jaffel iron and they used it on a gas plate or maybe a primus stove, memory is a bit fuzzy.
