I need to build some document that are gonna be fillable pdf...

What software could i use that would be open source or free.. as it is a once off we would prefer to not purchase adobe

I tried PDF escape a while back and it was odd.. gonna try scribus

You can create the doc in Microsoft Word, and convert it after, I did that when I wrote some T&C's last year:
