Lenovo ideapads?

has anyone heard of these? I saw won being advertised on an Incredible Connection insert in the newpaper. I think it was the ideapad Y710.

they look pretty good, but I don't know if they reliable or in fact, I don't know anything about the brand at all. but these ideapads do look pretty cool and funky.

I was thinking of getting one of them Y710 (17" monitor )

so, does anyone know anything about these, google seems to give the same info just from different sites and no ones reviewed them.
I'm thinking of getting one, but need to be sure they good, 10k is a large amount of money to be dropping on a laptop.

Basically the are IBM notebooks - IdeaPad is the reincarnation of ThinkPad.

They do look good - as with any notebook nowadays consider which OS you want to run on it and be certain that the applicable drivers are available. Don't get conned like a Pavilion owner (me)and end up not having the option of running anything but Vista reliably due to lack of drivers.
