Lenovo Thinkpad tablet 2 Windows 8.1 update problems

Hi all

Just got the Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 2- bought for office productivity and online note taking options. Loving the journal feature and ability to search throughout windows for handwritten notes.

Just a quick questions has anybody on this forum managed to update and install Windows 8.1 on this device as I have tried it a few times and it keeps bombing out at 87% and then restoring to previous version, which is a bit of a pain as I really want to update while I can as a 'free option" on the windows store.

Firstly, it will always be a free update, so no need to worry with that. Have you had a look at the logs? c:\windows\setuperr.log
Also, make sure that all your drivers are up-to-date before you attempt the upgrade.
