I bought a Lenovo X301 for the missus today – a demo model going for half price…could not resist. Maybe the nicest laptop I have ever worked on. Got rid of Windows Vista quickly (it is an older laptop which means it still had Vista as the default OS) – now running Windows 7 and it is great. Light, good performance, good design.
I am a bit of a Thinkpad fanboy, but these really are great laptops. I have had my X61 for a few years now, and no problems despite dropping it twice (once kicked off the bed in a supposed accident
).
