Lens Fungus

Anybody have any ideas for camera storage to avoid lens fungus?

I have 2 R40 000 video cams and 1 DSLR and have noticed a small fungus starting on the one video cams. I can imagine it has something to do with the humidity we have here in Richards bay and also the fact that I've been filming furnaces and then moving into air conditioned room (huge temp changes)

I have seen some websites where camera storage is metioned and there are many varied solutions. I was wondering if anyone here had lens fungus experience.

Sony apparently just simply change the lens for R6000.....surely somebody can actually clean the fungus off...(its inside the camera)

How about stuffing as many of those silica gel packs as you can get your hands on into your camera case?

Yeah....been using those but my bag is not air tight. I am looking for a more permanent solution, especially when they are noy being used. ie airconditioned room or not.....warm lamp or not....Silica gel packs will always be part or the solution.
