Mine goes straight to the desktop, but I did an upgrade not a clean install. Wonder if that makes a difference.

It works if I use Grab.app but I like to be able to do it from the keystroke.@Bwana, have you checked Grab's preferences? I remember I also had a hassle finding the bloody things and eventually found them in user/documents - then changed it to save on the desktop.

Mine was a fresh install as well up until I used the migration assistant.Cool, mine was working from the start, did a daisy fresh install.
