Lesotho gets Starlink

Ooh we get it, you dont need starlink. Neither do I. The fact that alot of people in rural areas bought starlink before, means that there is a demand for the product.

I will give you an example of your argument: You basically saying there is no need for a car dealership in a small town as there is a car dealership 250km's away which is adequate for the town needs.
Over 5,000 schools in rural areas. That is only the immediate benefit. This guy is clearly a cadre connected troll.

I have lived in rural areas and towns in both provinces. I still live in a rural area. What's your experience with cell phone signal in a rural area?

The satellite tech works far better than a cell signal in rural areas that have a sketchy or no cell signal.

Your GPS is satellite tech. How well does yours work?

There is no 5G in rural areas. There is no cell signal at all in some rural areas.

Ah, so that's what your anti satellite attitude is all about. It's not about the tech, it's about Musk.
Actually it's more about Koos Bekker and Canal Plus. Damn satellite technology is white man's lies.

Completely different situation as a car is proven technology while Starlink is a sci-fi toy. It's like asking why there are no Tesla dealerships in the Karoo.

You know what, just get Starlink, fanboys. I'm done with warning you. I know it won't affect me in any way.

So Starlink does not work? Could you point out anywhere where it does not work. Even the Ukrainians are using it for their war efforts, but it is unproven?

You should lay off the crap weed.

So, according to you, who uses a GPS, weather reports, and possibly DSTV (Digital Satellite TV), all of which have been running off satellites for decades, do you still assert that satellites are unproven technology?

Satellites have been around since the Soviets launched Sputnik in 1957, 68 years ago. If they were still sci-fi toys, please explain their massive adoption and continued use?

It's like asking why there are no Tesla dealerships in the Karoo.

There is no use for a Tesla in the Karoo. That is the reason there are no Tesla dealerships in the Karoo. Same as there are no refrigerator dealers in Antarctica. It's called supply and demand, a basic principle of doing business.
