Sony announced that they will be reducing the price of their PS3 by US 100 which has Xbox fans waiting in the wings for a counter offer from Microsoft. Microsoft in the interim have been working on project Falcon which they are hoping will allow them to cut costs.

For South Africans, this war is a virtual one. We only imagine what it's like to play on the Wii and we can't afford the PS3 (even after discount)...
That war is being fought on foreign shores, still it's fun to read about it.

True. I have an Xbox and must say the game prices have dropped dramatically! THe games are numerous and there are extremely cool titles out there.
