Let me just state that "I @#$*ing hate Telkom !!!!"

If any telkom employees are reading this, YOU PEOPLE ARE USELESS !!!

My phone line was hit by lightning on Sunday afternoon and has been down ever since, along with everyone else in our neighbourhood. I asked my GF to phone them from her office as I am not going to spend an hour+ on my cellphone to telkom. We need the phone lines for business ffs !! :(

It is now wednesday and not even a phone call to say they are looking into the problem. I even tried their online fault report system, which surprise, surprise... does not work either. IE their fault reporting is faulty... WTF !!!

I am moving away from these morons the second the SNO start delivering phone/data services.

I have never gotten a response from the online thing - last I looked, I could not even find it.

My line went down on Dec 27th last year, and I got a call from them around the 10th of jan. In the meanwhile, the problem was fixed - I saw a Telkom chappie on my block, and asked him to please look - he did, and fixed it. Kudos to him - hope he enjoys his new job at the SNO later this year...

My line went down on the 29th of January, making this the 9th day without any service.

Numerous attempts have been made, including probably 10+ calls and driving to our local telkom offices yesterday where they promised someone would be sent the same day.

Needless to say we're still waiting.

Can someone investigate the possibility to start a business helping Telkom to sort our their crap. I had SEVERAL issues with Telkom last year and even offered some CASH to the tekkies to sort out my line... I'm sure there are guys out there like me that will definetely pay a third party to fix these issues... I would rather pay R200 than waiting 2 months

I agree 100% with your first line - HATE is not really the word - that is why I go to www.hellkom.co.za more regularly than my internet banking ;-)
