Firstly... is it in? Is it on? are we protected yet?
And then - what does this act mean for online sales? I understand that where direct-marketing is concerned, consumers now have a period where they can return a product for a guaranteed refund, based on the idea that people have a right to inspect a product to their satisfaction. So if I buy a gadget from say Kalahari, receive it and realize it's not what I thought, am I entitled to a refund?
I don't know if I've misunderstood something somewhere along the way, but it seems to me this act is going to put serious brakes on ecommerce?
