Note: I urge all players whom would like to join us to join sooner rather than later, as we all will get back into PvP and work together to get used to playing as a team. GW is about how well you work together and also how well you use your skills, not how about good your build is.

Noob here, Just about getting to grips with PvE and the logics of the game.

What is in it for a noob joining a guild, can you still go out PvE style gaining experience loot and stuffs?

In the bufs experience, what is the best route to take to get max value out of GW starting out, should I stay solo untill I am ready or am I just wasting bits?:p

In a guild you get help (if your guild is worth anything) and you learn a lot faster.

What campaigns do you have: Nightfall? Prophecies? Factions? Eye of the north?
 
Prophecies and Factions, Just loaded Prophecies and started playing, havn't loaded the factions yet.

In factions as far as I know you will be alone in pre-searing, if you like I will invite you to our guild, im sure you will like it there :)
 
OK, just barely figured out the pre searing thingy, One moment ascalon was pretty, joined in some wild group battle and the next thing everything looked like hell flew over, even the players seems more depressed an moody.

Do you miss stuff if you go into searing too soon? and even in a guild, do you lose out on the game story and stuff in any way?

Nope a guild is basically a nice support group. You can still uest on your own and do anything and everything you could do alone.

Shot. If I join your guild do I need to change to another server? I just used the default and I think it's the UK server. How do I change that btw?
 
Sounds like a good thing you guys are doing, I was in a rather big SA guild last year, there were about 50 of us in total, bout 20 r so were active... The guid was Mind Sport SA [MSSA]. Contact Zander Greyscale in game and see if he's up to helping you... Tell him Ant / Destiny sent u... :D

I am also an SA player, but playing in YaRR... Too involved with PVE to change just yet, but i will keep this in mind when the PVP bug bites again... ;)

We started GvG this week and it looks like there is alot of potential. Having fun we are ^_^
 
I am still in the Guild I got into in the pre to post searing mission Luxon I think. I got grabbed I guess, hehehe!!

I havn't looked for any players or guilds last night, just went of completing some missions and work on the XP, get a storage chest etc... Read a piece of the manual, checked out some popular battles when I descovered the observer thingy. Hectic!!!

The idea around the guild's guild hall, andventure vs the battle part of the game is starting to sink in now. Non of me pom friends who adopted me was there last night, they were kind of nice to show me around, we had a moment together but then I descovered I was broke and the relationship kinda didn't work, cuz for me it was all about money and they insisted that money didn't matter but I still know you need a few quid to do the basics. My male practical mind kicked in and lost that moment thing. Darn.. Kinda liked the randomness but I guess hooking up with some local company won't be bad either, and better time zone matching.

I'll look you up tonite Devill, is that your in game name?(Joining forces with the Devill, hehe!!) It's either that or starting the "fairy princess castle guild" or "powerpuffs". Hehe!!

Lol, leave your guild and I will invite you to ours :)

And then I will help you with the mission you need quickly.

It's probably in your best interest to join Devil's guild. They will more than fill in for your PvE needs.
