Let's talk Cologne

That's a good point regarding oxidisation but via the atomiser is the way some people do it.

Yea that's my point :cautious: , doing 90ml via the atomiser will be a huge pita

How long are these needles, a 100ml bottle can often be a good 10cm tall excluding the atomiser tube?
they are short.
it doesnt need to go to the bottom of the bottle, it sucks through the tube

Has anyone ordered off the thescents.co.za?
I see their links via Google from time to time.
They seem legit, I don't see any red signs and they have some good prices

Good deals on Dior, Dior Homme EDT 100ml R1543 + R99 shipping
All the Dior:

It doesn't create a scent that goes with your mood or style for the day? Its rather one-dimensional.

In some societies strong smells are considered offensive. Not much of a fan myself these days.

I always say, that a good soap, roll on and deodorant/fragrance is important. The problem is that many people, don't understand the situation, location and occasion when it comes to fragrances. And because of that, it creates a problem to those around them.

As an example, you work in an office environment, have a fragrance that is light, that doesn't project heavily. Or you are at a function/wedding etc dressed formally, wear something that won't choke out your guests.

I'm not really into heavy projecting fragrances, because I struggle to understand what occasion its going to work for you. Imo, fragrances are a personal thing, so it shouldn't unsettle those around you. I've worn some decants of PDM, Amouge etc and many times I've questioned myself, because the scent were strong.

R 550 for Armaf, Club de nuit intense man, 105ml edt, I think shipping is R99

Best price I've seen for this in a while, It's a very decent fragrance, worth giving a try to see what all the hype is about..

I much prefer explorer, myself if you must have an aventus "clone" (you can/could get the 60ml bottle for pretty cheap on zando when they have those 30-40% off's)

I gave my bottle to Iceman, maybe he can give his mini review :)

That sounds good, I haven’t smelt it for a few years, maybe it’s time for a new bottle

What I really want is a fragrance that smells like fynbos, now that would be epic.

Hi guys, apologies if this isn't allowed.
Azzaro wanted 100ml, half a bottle left, selling for R250 pm me.

Love CDNIM.

Review

The opening is harsh, pledge like lemon smell on opening.

If you want a more fruity clone of Aventus, something that's pleasing to your nose and those around you, then Montblanc Explorer is the better option. I would say it's probably a little bit closer to Aventus, than CDNIM

CDNIM beyond the initial opening, is more a smokier Aventus, with a really nice dry down. The good thing with Club D N, is that imo, because of the smokier nature of the fragrance, it's a pretty good fragrance to wear for any season. So it's pretty versatile.

There are a couple of other clones of Aventus that's really nice

Pineapple Vintage by Parfums Vintage or Dua Fragrances ie Poseidon Elixir 13ZZ or Al Haramain L Aventure

But in all honesty, Aventus is overhyped.
