Let's talk Cologne

I picked up a few fragrances last week ,

ventana pour homme ( nice clone of Dior Savage, there’s so many around , but nice none the less)

Armaf niche Bucephalus X ( no idea how to pronounce this But god dam this smells amazing )

Blue Homme by Armaf - nice fresh , for spring

Afnan 9pm pour Femme ( intoxicating, and lasts 10hrs plus on skin , female scent but I love it , reminds me of Amethyst - which they didn’t have )

Where did you pick them up? Armaf Blue Homme is a clone of Aqua Di Gio

Pafumo Absolu here in Durbs, I was in the area and made the most of if .

The blue homme , came in a nice gift set too , with a shampoo, lotion, or something.
I think their physical store has a better range than their online one, or they are not doing a great job of updating the site.

Is there anywhere in South Africa that sells Iso E Super?
Apparently it increases the longevity of fragrances if you apply it first, helps if you have anosmia with some notes and smells pretty good just on it's own.

Buy Molecule 01 and layer with a fragrance

Skins.co.za

Oh yeah, pay R2500 for a nice bottle :cautious:
It’s pretty cheap from fragrance ingredient suppliers but I can't find one in South Africa that has it.

Do you have any idea how much they sell it for?
Buy unscented lotion, it's cheaper. Mix the perfume with the lotion, and apply to skin.

Something ridiculous, first time iv come across is honestly ..

Something else I came across recently is macerating your colognes, apparently increases longevity of your fragrance

Macerating just concentrates the perfume dilution by letting some of the alcohol carrier evaporate.
It’s R 2,775 at skins but a 100g(1g =1ml roughly) bottle as a raw ingredient isn't even R300 but where to find it in South Africa

Looks like some deep diving is in order ..

Parfums De Marly's Pegasus is an "inspiration" of Hypnotic Poison so any of its clones would work. Armaf's Craze is a cheap option (R400/100ml) . Nothing is as good as Dior's so temper your expectations a little.
