Let's talk Cologne

It is very interesting, that chocolaty vibe but it also had some other weird notes.
I had a 100ml that was near full I think I sold for R500 a year or 2 ago.

eBay prices aren't bad looking at the sold listings, 100ML Brand new sells for $75 as recent as this month. $200 is probably the outlier that was the only seller to ship to South Africa.
Yeh that was incl shipping, which i was never gonna pay lol. But i love the Gourmand stuff. Montale's Chocolate Greedy is really nice, and i also love Muglers Pure Coffee

So I ordered from Rio Perfumes.
My order was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday.
I called the courier yesterday and they told me delivery will take place today, now when I called they told me they cannot find my order and my package is missing.

Has anyone experienced this? Or a way forward? I been ordering for years from Rio Perfumes and it's the first time something like this has happened.
Just an update guys. I spoke to Riaz. He sent me a new package.

God the oud 24 hours smells so nice

Currently using Dior Sauvage , but I still feel the best is Armani Code (Black bottle)

Nothing beats cheesy body odour in creating a lasting impact - only kidding. I use after shave lotion sometimes and that's it.

This thread is interesting.... Been reading back through it, and many people seem to play it safe with frgarances..ie Designer, mass appealing stuff.

But the Niche and Indie market are really good, but expensive

Lol play it safe, more like that's all that we can afford :cautious: :crying:
I'd gladly buy niche fragrances but they tend to start at R2k+ for 50ml, if you are lucky.
And you still have the same chance as with any fragrance that a month later you realize some note just really bugs you and you don't really enjoy wearing it.

If only South Africa had decants available because that would make buying new bottles a lot less risky.

Yeh the niche market is very expensive, unless you look at Mancera or Montale, which are good, and generally under R2000 per 100ml

I recently bought a bottle of Armani Bleu Lazuli. I don't see myself using anything other than this in future - it smells clean, fresh and lasts for over a day.
